In a shocking incident that has left a community grieving, a young family was killed in a devastating highway crash in Ohio when a semi-truck slammed into their car as it sat in traffic. Lynnea Soposki, a 36-year-old veterinarian; her husband Luke, 37; and their one-year-old son Logan lost their lives in the fiery nine-vehicle collision on Interstate 71 in Delaware County on Saturday evening. Following the tragic incident, an online GoFundMe campaign has been set up in memory of the Soposki family in Ohio, aiming to raise $4000 to help cover funeral and memorial expenses.
According to PrimeTimer, a multi-vehicle crash in a construction zone on Interstate 71 was triggered after a semi-truck collided with slowing traffic, leading to a chain reaction involving nine vehicles.
The collision occurred around 6:27 pm and left several vehicles engulfed in flames, with three injured and the Soposki family, travelling in a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado, killed in the tragic accident.
Following the crash, a GoFundMe campaign was launched by Ohio resident Jake Anderson, who identified himself as a close family friend, to support funeral and memorial expenses, with the fundraiser aiming to raise $20000.
Meanwhile, truck driver Modou F. Ngom, 50, has been arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and remains in custody on a $500,000 bond, with further charges possible.
Dr. Lynnea Soposki, a 36-year-old veterinarian based in Dublin, Ohio, tragically died on April 11, 2026, in a multi-vehicle crash.
