The Indian Odia-language movie Daalcheeni is all set to make its OTT debut. The 2022 hit Odia romantic film is finally making its digital debut via the platform AAO NXT.The film that earned a lot of appreciation two years ago will now be impressing the OTT audiences starting December 28.Here's all that you need to know about Daalcheeni before its release date:
Plot
This upcoming film online is all about Kaushik, who is a decent, shy, and inexperienced investment banker and has never had any physical intimacy with anyone. The story of the film progresses when the man secretly starts fantasising about it and finally hires a high-end escort named Marilyn.
Kaushik's life takes a turn when he falls in love with Mailyn. After they part ways, Kaushik desperately tries to get in touch with Marilyn but fails. By the end of the movie, Kaushik is left heartbroken as he questions his future.Cast and crew
The film has been directed by two filmmakers: Sisir Kumar Sahu and Peenakee Singh. Sisir once shared that Daalcheeni, which means cinnamon in English, may look like any common bark of a tree, but when people use it in cooking and taste it, then only do they get to know about the aroma it has.
