The final season of the American animated anthology series What If...? is coming soon on OTT. Season 3 of the show will be available on the platform Disney+ Hotstar starting December 22. As the upcoming season is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on December 22, each of its eight episodes will be released daily until December 29. The show will be a part of Phase Five of the MCU. The show is based on the Marvel Comics series of the same name that revolves around alternate timelines in the multiverse that show what would happen if major moments from the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) occurred differently.
The upcoming season has been produced by Marvel Studios Animation. Matthew Chauncey has worked on the show as the head writer. The show has been directed by Bryan Andrews and Stephan Franck.
The show has Jeffrey Wright, who plays the Watcher and narrates the story to the audiences. Season 3 has numerous MCU film actors reprising their roles.
The show's development began in July 2022, with Chauncey replacing previous head writer A. C. Bradley for season 3 by December last year, but Andrews and Franck continued to direct the show. Music for the upcoming season has been composed by Laura Karpman, who has also worked on the show's previous seasons as well.
