As Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance enters its fourth week, questions have emerged over whether a masked suspect captured on her doorbell camera visited her home on multiple days. While a source suggested possible prior surveillance, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department says claims about separate dates remain speculative and unconfirmed.

As the search for Nancy Guthrie stretches into its fourth week, investigators are now examining a potentially significant new development in the case. According to a video posted on X (formerly called Twitter) by CNN correspondent Erin Burnett, the two images of a masked suspect captured by Guthrie's doorbell camera, earlier released by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, were taken on two separate days. The revelation raises a troubling question: did the person responsible for Guthrie’s disappearance surveil her home in advance? Let's find out.
In her report, Erin Burnett stated that the 'masked suspect in the Nancy Guthrie doorbell video had gone to her home before, in fact days before she was abducted.'
Not only this, but she also suggested that the investigators may be looking at the evidence of prior surveillance, reported the PrimeTimer.
Well, while speaking with Burnett, journalist Ed Lavandera revealed that a source indicated that one of the released images was captured on a different day than the early morning hours of February 1, placing the masked individual at Guthrie’s doorstep sometime between January 1 and February 2.
Though the exact date remains unclear for now, Lavandera noted that law enforcement specifically requested CCTV footage from January 11 between 8pm and midnight, a time frame that could potentially align with suspicions that whoever is responsible may have visited or monitored the home in advance.
Moreover, the requests may be connected to investigators' suspicions that those responsible for Guthrie's disappearance visited her home during that time frame, though authorities have not officially confirmed that link.
On the other hand, as the social media users continue to speculate that Nancy Guthrie’s suspected abductor was captured on her doorbell camera on multiple days, the Pima County Sheriff's Department has moved to shut down that theory.
