CBS recently released a new promo on its official YouTube page on December 22, giving viewers an early glimpse of the drama, romance, and unexpected twists the season promises. With steamy pairings, playful banter, and new complications, the upcoming episodes are shaping up to be unmissable.

The season opens with a high-energy party at the Dupree household. Family matriarch Anita Dupree, played by Tamara Tunie, teases viewers: “This party is going to be brimming with surprises.” Quick cuts in the promo hint at several romantic developments, promising a wilder, steamier storyline for the Dupree family and their friends.

Kat (Colby Muhammad) and Thomas (Alex Alegria) are seen heating up, while Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) shares a passionate kiss with Joey (Jon Lindstrom). As an announcer notes, “The stories are steamier,” and it’s clear romance will play a central role this season.

The season doesn’t shy away from humour and flirtation. Martin (Brandon Claybon) jokes with his husband, Smitty (Mike Manning), saying, “Hopefully, it’s involving fewer clothes,” setting the tone for more playful, light-hearted moments amidst the drama.
