Bridgerton season 4 update: Benedict’s love story stirs 'Cinderella with trauma' in new teaser trailer, fans call it 'proper fairytale energy'

Bridgerton fans have been waiting. Really waiting. Since Season 3 gave the world the Polin romance, viewers have been hungry for the next big love story. Now, Season 4 is ready to take over. Netflix dropped the first teaser on Christmas Day, and the internet reacted like someone lit a sparkler in a ballroom.

Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, finally becomes the lead after seasons of avoiding the idea of marriage. Alongside him is Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha, a character inspired by Julia Quinn’s An Offer from a Gentleman. The story brings masks, secrets, class tension, and the kind of romance fans love to argue about online.

Netflix is splitting the season into two parts again. Four episodes will land on 29 January 2026. The final four will arrive on 26 February 2026. Eight episodes. Twice the suspense. Twice the chatter.
