Dakota Johnson has sparked fresh romance speculation after she was spotted enjoying a low-key dinner with a younger musician during the holiday season. The outing comes months after the actress quietly ended her long-term relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

According to photos obtained by TMZ, the Fifty Shades of Grey actress dined alongside singer Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, shortly before Christmas. Pillsbury is best known for his music career and was previously in a relationship with influencer Emma Chamberlain, which ended in 2023.



In the images, Johnson and Pillsbury were seen sitting close together at a crowded restaurant, listening intently to friends seated across the table. Sources told TMZ that the pair appeared relaxed and comfortable, with the two reportedly “cosying up” throughout the evening.

Johnson was seen sipping on a cocktail while engaging in conversation, while Pillsbury appeared equally involved, further fueling speculation that the outing may have been more than just a casual group dinner. Representatives for both stars have not commented on the reports.

The speculation intensified after an anonymous tip was sent to celebrity gossip site DeuxMoi earlier this month. Shared on Instagram on December 19, the tip claimed Johnson and Pillsbury were also spotted together at Vandell, a popular cocktail bar in Los Angeles.

While the source noted that it was difficult to interpret the exact “vibes” between the two, they added that both were “beautiful in person,” keeping fans guessing about the nature of their connection.



Last month, a source told People magazine that Johnson has been “slowly dating again” following her June split from Martin after eight years together. The source described their relationship as “often hot and cold,” adding that Johnson seems “lighter and more at peace now that it’s final.”

“She’s in a great place,” the source said, noting that the actress is busy, fulfilled, and focused on moving forward.

Despite the breakup, Johnson’s has remained close to Martin’s family. She developed a close bond with his children, Apple and Moses, whom he shares with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
