Ayodhya to Celebrate Second Anniversary of Shri Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha with Grand Religious Events

Ayodhya will celebrate the second anniversary of Shri Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha on December 31, 2025, with week-long religious and cultural programs. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the historic celebrations at the Ram Janmabhoomi complex.
The holy city of Ayodhya is set to witness grand and spiritually uplifting celebrations as the second anniversary of Shri Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha will be observed on December 31, 2025, with immense devotion and traditional grandeur. The original Pran Pratishtha ceremony was held on January 22, 2024, but the anniversary is being commemorated according to the Hindu lunar calendar.

Following tradition, the first anniversary was observed on January 11, 2025, and the second will now be celebrated in accordance with religious scriptures and rituals.

Religious Rituals from December 27 to January 2

The religious observances will begin on December 27, 2025, and continue until January 2, 2026. The main ceremonial event will take place on December 31, while pujas, havans, and associated rituals will continue for two more days.

All rituals will be conducted under the guidance of Jagadguru Madhvacharya Ji, ensuring adherence to sacred Vedic traditions.

Rajnath Singh to Attend as Chief Guest, CM Yogi Also Present

India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will attend the celebrations as the chief guest, marking the national significance of the occasion. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also remain present, adding further importance to the historic event.

On December 31, Rajnath Singh will perform flag hoisting at the Maa Annapurna Temple, located within the Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex. He will also participate as a distinguished guest in the Pratishtha Dwadashi ceremony.

Cultural Programs to Begin from December 29

A series of cultural and devotional programs will commence from December 29, showcasing religious music, spiritual discourses, and cultural performances rooted in Ram Bhakti and Indian traditions. These events aim to enrich the spiritual experience of devotees visiting Ayodhya.

Special Arrangements for Devotees

To ensure smooth movement and safety of devotees, special entry and exit arrangements have been made. Pilgrims will access Angad Tila via Sugriv Path, helping manage crowd flow efficiently during peak days of the celebrations.

Preparations in Final Stage

Providing details during a meeting of temple-associated volunteers, Gopal Ji, associated with the Ram Janmabhoomi temple administration, stated that preparations are in their final stage. Extensive arrangements are being made to welcome devotees arriving from across India and abroad.

Ayodhya Ready to Host Global Devotees

With lakhs of devotees expected to visit Ram Nagari during the anniversary celebrations, Ayodhya is once again poised to reaffirm its place as a global spiritual center, blending devotion, tradition, and disciplined organization.
