Despite the biting cold, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday held a Janata Darshan at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan auditorium in the Gorakhnath Temple premises, where he personally heard grievances of nearly 250 people. Reaffirming the government’s commitment to public welfare, CM Yogi assured citizens that every genuine issue would be resolved promptly and effectively, urging people not to panic.
Zero Tolerance Against
Taking a strong stand against fraudsters cheating people in the name of overseas employment, CM Yogi issued clear and strict instructions to the police to take immediate action against agents involved in such scams. He directed officials to recover the full amount duped from victims and ensure that all culprits are identified and prosecuted under the law.
He cautioned the public against falling prey to illegal agents, warning that unauthorized attempts to go abroad often result in financial loss and imprisonment, causing distress to families.
During the Janata Darshan, a woman informed the Chief Minister that an agent had cheated her by falsely promising to send a family member abroad. Taking instant cognisance, CM Yogi instructed police officials present at the venue to initiate strict legal action against the accused and ensure swift recovery of the victim’s money.

CM Yogi also directed the administration to take stringent legal action in cases of land grabbing, ensuring protection of citizens’ rights and property.
Several people sought financial assistance for medical treatment during the Janata Darshan. Responding sensitively, CM Yogi directed officials to expedite hospital cost estimates and forward proposals promptly so that financial aid could be released from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund without delay.
Beyond grievance redressal, CM Yogi also spent time interacting with children who accompanied their families. He encouraged them to attend school regularly, emphasized the importance of education, and distributed chocolates, creating a warm and reassuring atmosphere.
The Janata Darshan once again highlighted CM Yogi Adityanath’s hands-on governance model, combining strict administrative action with compassion.
