BTS’s long silence as a full group is finally ending in thrilling fashion. On January 1, 2026, BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed that the septet will return on March 20, 2026, putting a date on the comeback fans have been waiting years for. The announcement follows days of buzz after BTS sent handwritten postcards to ARMY that hinted at something big coming this spring.



On New Year’s Day, BIGHIT MUSIC reportedly confirmed that BTS will make their comeback on March 20, 2026, according to AtStar1. The agency said, “We have confirmed that they will make a comeback on March 20,” marking about three years and nine months since the group’s last full-group album, Proof, in June 2022.



This date has become a focal point for ARMY discussions, especially after fans decoded it on the postcards and pointed out that March 20 is both the first day of spring and a Friday — traditionally a major release day in music.



Before the official date was shared, BTS spent New Year’s Eve with fans on a Weverse live broadcast as the full seven-member group. During the stream on December 31, they reflected on 2025, shared laughs, and talked about how meaningful 2026 feels now that all members are back together.
