Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow on December 25 marking former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee's birth anniversary. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed preparations directing officials to ensure top-level security, smooth traffic flowand public convenience for nearly two lakh attendees.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday reviewed preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Lucknow on December 25 and the inauguration of the newly built Rashtra Prerna Sthal.
The Prime Minister will dedicate the landmark project to the nation on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The Chief Minister said the memorial will emerge as a strong symbol of national consciousness, cultural heritage and pride.
The Chief Minister said the statues of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and Atal Bihari Vajpayee installed at Rashtra Prerna Sthal will inspire future generations. He added that the site reflects the ideals of national unity, Integral Humanism and Atmanirbhar Bharat and will help people understand the contributions of these national leaders.
Chief Minister Yogi informed that around two lakh people from across Uttar Pradesh are expected to attend the inauguration ceremony. He directed officials to ensure normal traffic movement in Lucknow, despite the large gathering and winter conditions. Special focus was laid on public convenience, parking facilities, and smooth transport operations.
Keeping in mind the presence of the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure the highest level of security. Multi-layered security arrangements will be in place along VVIP routes, helipad locations, the main venue and public gathering areas. The CM made it clear that there will be zero tolerance for negligence at any level.
The Chief Minister reviewed detailed plans related to transport routes and bus movement, parking zones and entry gates, crowd management and control rooms, medical units and emergency services. He instructed the deployment of nodal officers for every bus cluster, parking area and entry gate to ensure smooth coordination.
CM Yogi directed that all remaining work, including landscaping, gardens, museum interiors, amphitheatre and approach road beautification be completed within the deadline. He also emphasized clear signage for traffic diversions, parking areas and pedestrian movement to ensure easy access for the public.
