After fans clocked that Cardi B and NFL star Stefon Diggs did not spend Christmas together, social media quickly jumped into conspiracy mode. The rapper spent the holiday with their newborn baby boy, while Diggs celebrated with his other children from previous relationships. What should have been a normal co-parenting reality turned into days of relentless online criticism, and Cardi was not having it.

Cardi B finally breaks her silence

The 33-year-old rapper addressed the backlash directly in a candid video posted on X on December 29. Cardi made it clear that the internet had crossed the line, calling out people for dragging her for days over a situation she said could not be changed.

She stressed that there was no undo button, no rewinding time, and no way to erase the fact that she and Diggs now share a child. According to Cardi, moving forward is the only option, whether the internet approves or not.

“I need my fans, not the hate”

Beyond the relationship discourse, Cardi revealed that she is already under serious pressure. With plans to tour in 2026, the rapper explained that the coming years will demand long stretches away from her children. She shares Kulture, seven, Wave, four, and Blossom, fourteen months, with estranged husband Offset, and now also has a baby son with Diggs.

Cardi emphasised that this next chapter will require support, not judgment. She openly admitted feeling overwhelmed and stressed, asking fans to stand by her rather than piling on negativity when she needs encouragement the most.

Stefon Diggs responds quietly

While Diggs was physically absent on Christmas Day, he made it clear Cardi and their baby were still on his mind. The football player reposted one of Cardi’s photos holding their son and added a playful caption expressing that he missed them, while joking about Cardi being a little too affectionate.

It was subtle, soft, and very much not the chaos fans were projecting.

A very real, very messy Christmas

Cardi’s own holiday celebrations were far from picture-perfect. Her Instagram carousel showed multiple Christmas trees, including one decorated with footballs as a nod to Diggs, and a series of failed attempts at capturing the “perfect” family photo. Crying kids, distracted toddlers, and toy chaos ruled the frame.

She jokingly acknowledged that perfection does not live in her house, and honestly, that might be the most relatable thing about the entire situation.

At the end of it all, Cardi made her position clear: she wishes her fans health, happiness, and prosperity for the new year, but she also wants peace. Loudly.
