Reality TV star Grace Lilly of Bravo’s Southern Hospitality was arrested in Charleston after police flagged an active harassment warrant during a traffic stop. Officers later seized pills from her purse, according to arrest records.
Grace Lilly, a cast member of Bravo’s reality series Southern Hospitality, was arrested in the early hours of December 29 in Charleston, South Carolina, after police identified her as having an active warrant for second-degree harassment. The arrest has sparked fresh scrutiny of how off-screen legal issues can quickly overshadow on-screen popularity in the reality TV world.
According to a Charleston Police Department arrest report reviewed by People, officers stopped Lilly’s vehicle at a gas station after observing an illegal lane change. During the stop, law enforcement flagged her as a possible wanted party. Officers then confirmed that an outstanding warrant for second-degree harassment was active, leading to her arrest at the scene.
Second-degree harassment under South Carolina law typically involves behavior that seriously alarms or emotionally disturbs another individual, often through repeated or intrusive actions that lack a legitimate purpose.
The arrest report further states that officers searched Lilly’s belongings and discovered a small container labeled “Happy Pills” inside her purse. The container allegedly held 12 white pills marked with a “P” imprint and half of a blue pill with no identifying markings.
Lilly reportedly told officers that the blue pill was Xanax, which she said was prescribed to her, while the white pills were described as birth control. However, police noted that she could not provide prescription proof or original packaging at the time of the arrest. The pills were confiscated and sent for testing, though no additional charges related to the pills have been announced publicly so far.
What added to the public attention was the timing of the arrest. Lilly had been active on social media just hours earlier, posting about plans to watch Marty Supreme before later sharing a beach photo. She was booked into Charleston County Jail, with booking records indicating she was released later the same day.
This is not Lilly’s first encounter with the law. Public records show she was arrested in 2016 on drug possession charges, years before her appearance on Southern Hospitality.
Lilly has not made a public statement regarding the arrest, and Bravo has not commented on whether the incident will impact her future on the show. As legal proceedings move forward, the case highlights how quickly reality TV stardom can collide with real-world consequences.
