GTA 5 fans got another reminder of the dangers of swatting when voice actor Ned Luke, who portrays Michael De Santa, was targeted on a live stream, yet handled the incident with surprising calm. The moment went viral as police officers entered his home, addressing him by his name, a sign of how frequently Luke has been swatted in the past. Let’s find out what happened.

According to Indy100, swatting is a dangerous prank where someone calls law enforcement to report a serious emergency at a person’s home, often while that person is live-streaming. The intent is usually to disrupt the stream, cause panic or, in extreme cases, provoke arrest.



The incident took place during a GTA Online stream with Rob Wiethoff, known for his role as John Marston in the Red Dead Redemption series; two police officers entered Ned Luke’s room around 35 minutes into the broadcast. One officer even remarked, He’s been swatted again,” reflecting how frequently the actor has experienced such pranks. Luke stayed unusually calm, greeting them with, “Oh my god, what’s up, guys?”

He then told Wiethoff to “hang on” and wished his friends a Merry Christmas. After the officers left, Luke smoothly resumed his gameplay, joking, “There are so many douchebags out there, Rob.”
